Aptean Integrates with Qlik for Advanced Business Intelligence
ATLANTA, GA: Aptean announced a strategic OEM partnership with Qlik to power Aptean Analytics, Business Intelligence (BI) dashboards and analytics for a wide range of vertical markets, including Process Manufacturing, Discrete Manufacturing and Financial Services.
The Aptean Analytics product offerings are powered by the QlikView Business Discovery platform. QlikView has been widely recognized by global customers and leading industry analyst firms for its growth and leadership within the self-service BI industry.
“Business Intelligence is an essential component of Aptean’s strategy as our customers need complete, self-service solutions that analyze huge amounts of critical information and provide actionable data on which they can make key business decisions,” says Jennifer Sherman, senior vice president, product management, Aptean. “This partnership with Qlik allows us to deliver industry-specific BI dashboards and analytics that will help companies remain competitive and improve their value to the customers they serve.”
The QlikView Business Discovery platform enables organizations to optimize data as a strategic resource, allowing everyone to make data a natural part of the decision-making process. QlikView uses Natural Analytics to support the way people naturally analyze information. Users can ask their own questions to reveal new insights in their data and they can then make better decisions through active collaboration. Armed with these data-driven insights, they can act quickly with full confidence in their analysis.
“Qlik has a strong commitment to building a strategy that serves as the de facto global standard for how organizations can best tackle the challenges associated with analytics and Big Data,” says Christof Majer, vice president, Global Partner Sales, Qlik. “Working with Aptean and our ecosystem of OEM partners will further expand our reach into the specific industries that rely on user-driven BI to overcome common IT challenges and drive productivity throughout their organizations in a matter of days.”
Aptean Analytics will integrate business analytics across products within Aptean’s portfolio to provide end-to-end BI for the industries served. The initial wave of products will offer analytic dashboards for the Food & Beverage, Electronic and Medical Devices, Metals, Software, Financial Services and Retail industries, with more to follow.
Aptean Edge will be held through Thursday, May 22nd and features keynotes from “Dirty Jobs” host and skilled trades advocate Mike Rowe, as well as customer service guru Shep Hyken and executives from Aptean customers The Cheesecake Factory and Citizens Bank.
